Artwork Guidelines

File Format
When submitting a file, it should be 'print ready.' We prefer a PDF, but a high-quality JPEG is also fine. If using a JPEG, make sure the artwork is at least 300dpi and saved at the highest quality.
Resolution
All artwork should be in CMYK. If it’s in RGB, the colours may change when proofed. Make sure the resolution is at least 300dpi, as lower resolutions can look blurry or pixelated in print. Note: Web images are usually 72dpi and not good for print.
Text and Graphic Images
Keep all text and logos at least 0.25” (1/4”) away from the edge of the final trim area.
Bleed
Bleed means extending your image beyond the edge of the sheet to ensure it reaches the edge after trimming. For example, to have a black background on your flyer that goes to the edge, the colour must go past the edges. If the background isn’t designed larger than the final size, you might see white edges. We recommend adding a 0.125” (1/8”) bleed area on all sides to be cut off.
Artwork Size
Below are the required sizes for products with bleed. Add 0.25” (1/4”) to the finished size to allow for a 0.125” (1/8”) bleed on each edge.
Crop Marks
Crop marks are small lines showing where the product will be cut. If there’s bleed, it should extend 1/8” beyond the crop marks
*Important*
Your graphic file should be complete when you send it. If we need to make changes (like resizing, adjusting colour, or adding bleed), extra charges may apply, but we’ll notify you first. Often, small issues can be fixed at little or no cost.
